"Ukraine plans to complete negotiations on WTO entry in full before the next meeting of the working group, which will take place in the second half of May 2006," the Ministry of Economy said in a statement issued on March 18.
An unofficial meeting of the working group on considering Ukraine's application was held on March 16 - 17 in Geneva, Switzerland. According to information of the Ministry of Economy, talks on access to markets of goods and services have been completed with Columbia and Armenia and progress has been achieved in talks with Australia and Kyrgyzstan.
Ukraine has also settled all issues with Panama. Earlier, the ministry announced its intentions of completing WTO accession talks before late March and joining the organization by July.
